Who is JK Bersatu?
Est 1939
Our Story
Jurutera Konsultant was established in May 1939 under the name of Vallentine, Dunne and Company and registered as mining engineering consultants in Sabah.
In 1963, it joined partnership with Laurie and Montgomerie and Cardno and Davies of Australia and became Vallentine, Laurie and Davies (Malaysia) registered as civil, structural and mining engineering consultants in Sabah.
In 1972, on retirement of the Australian partners, the company was restructured as a solely Malaysian company and re-registered as Jurutera Konsultant (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Jurutera Konsultant continued expansion into new areas such as communication engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and petroleum industry.
In October 1996, JK Group of Companies was rationalized with the incorporation of J.K. Bersatu Sdn. Bhd., which brought together all the subsidiaries with their registered areas of specialization to provide a one-stop multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy supermarket to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
J.K. Bersatu Sdn Bhd’s Registered Office is in Kuala Lumpur with branches in Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
As a group we work closely with each other on a regular and on-going basis.
